airTRFX Control Training

Become an expert user of airTRFX Control and EveryMundo Fare Marketing products

airTRFX Control is the platform where you can edit, manage and build airTRFX pages and Fare airModules. Our goal is to make sure you are fully equipped to leverage airTRFX for all your marketing campaigns and train you to become an expert user.

The training program includes all the information you need to know from setup and configuration to advanced usage of pages and campaigns. We have divided the program in different sessions with different topics and requirements to facilitate the information sharing and overall training experience.

Our Customer Success team will grant you access to our online platform where you will be able to create a user and access all online courses that are prerequisite for the detailed training.

Program Overview

The program includes 4 sessions that take about an hour each to complete. 

Session 1

Topics:

  • airTRFX overview (templates and modules)
  • airTRFX Control overview
  • Initial configuration

This training is initiated when your airTRFX Pages are ready in Development but not ready for final UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

Session 2

Topics:

  • Additional airTRFX Control configurations

This training occurs when your airTRFX Pages are ready in Development, but not yet delivered for UAT.

(Session 1 and 2 can happen in the same week)

Session 3

Topics:

  • Building Custom Pages
  • Building Custom Fare airModules
  • Creating Promotions for strategic routes

This training is initiated when the UAT has been completed, the product is ready for Production or has been moved to Production.

Session 4

Topics:

  • Creating Campaigns for Template Pages 
  • Building Advanced Assets

This final training is performed one week after Session 3 has been conducted.

Session 1

airTRFX Overview (Templates and airModules), airTRFX Control Overview and Initial Configuration

The goal of this session is to know the different template pages for airTRFX, the airModules logic for each page, page creation and setting up the basic content across template pages.

airTRFX Control Templates and airModules

Goals:

  • Showcase product configuration
  • airModules per template

Requirements prior to the session:

  • None

Action Items:

  • None

Duration:

  • 20 minutes
Page Creation

Goals:

  • Upload the initial route list
  • Adding and removing routes, redirects

Requirements prior to the session:

  • List of routes (even if it’s not complete)

Action Items:

  • Upload and Remove Routes

Duration:

  • 10 minutes
Page Layouts

Goals:

  • How modules can be placed and moved across the page by “drag and drop”.

Requirements prior to the session:

  • None

Action Items:

  • Configure page layout across templates (optional)

Duration:

  • 10 minutes
Page Template Content

Goals:

  • Setup H1 and H2 (accordion for home)
  • Setup airModules Titles
  • Add On-Page content

Requirements prior to the session:

  • Personalized titles (optional)

Action Items:

  • Define Page template contents and airModules titles

Duration:

  • 20 minutes

Session 2

Additional Configurations

The goal of this session is to learn how to complete the airTRFX configuration before the pages are ready for final UAT.

Meta Data

Goals:

  • Headers (H1), title tags and meta descriptions
  • Parameters insertion on H1 (city, fare) to make it unique for every page.
  • Metadata for template pages and home page

Requirements prior to the session:

  • Personalized metadata

Action Items:

  • Define and implement metadata across template pages

Duration:

  • 15 minutes
Upload Location Images

Goals:

  • For airTRFX Hub Pages and Locations

Requirements prior to the session:

  • Images or sample URLs from EM Library

Action Items:

  • Upload location images

Duration:

  • 10 minutes
Content Descriptions

Goals:

  • Add content descriptions for templates: From City, To City, From Country, To Country

Requirements prior to the session:

  • At least one content description to practice

Action Items:

  • Upload/update a destination description for a geography

Duration:

  • 10 minutes
Labels

Goals:

  • How to update labels in case the standards ones should be adjusted, matching with the core website

Requirements prior to the session:

  • None

Action Items:

  • Update a the labels that need to be adjusted

Duration:

  • 10 minutes

Session 3

Custom Pages and Custom Fare airModules: Strategic routes and promotions

The goal of this session is to learn how to create custom pages, useful for all your marketing campaigns as landing pages for your different marketing channels.

Assets for Custom Pages

Goals:

  • Create an asset with a banner (destination image with link to new airTRFX Page)

Requirements prior to the session:

  • Banner image to use

Action Items:

  • Create a banner for the custom page

Duration:

  • 20 minutes
Custom Fare airModule

Goals:

  • Create a custom fare airModule that includes the airline’s new routes or routes that you would like to promote.

Requirements prior to the session:

  • List of few routes

Action Items:

  • Create the custom fare air Module for a different side edition

Duration:

  • 20 minutes
Custom Pages

Goals:

  • Use cases and options on how to leverage Custom Pages (Regions, promos, Restart from COVID-19)
  • Create a Promotions custom page for holidays  with background image and metadata, static dates and maximum fare.

Requirements prior to the session:

  • None

Action Items:

  • Create an Always-On Custom Page for promotions (ie. Last Minute Deals)

Duration:

  • 15 minutes
Adding elements to the custom page

Goals:

  • Adding the assets: Custom fare airModule and banner

Requirements prior to the session:

  • Assets to use

Action Items:

  • Add more elements to the Promotions custom page

Duration:

  • 20 minutes

Session 4

Campaigns for Template Pages

The goal of this session is to learn how to customize existing airTRFX template pages by including Campaign Assets. Campaigns are helpful to tailor a page, or group of pages,  according to specific marketing messages or tactical promotions.

Assets and Campaigns for Template Pages

Goals:

  • Create the campaign for the custom Fare airModule previously created
  • Create the container for the home page
  • Add this campaign to the home template layout
  • Create a Global Campaign
  • Create a Campaign targeting a group of routes/templates

Requirements prior to the session:

  • Promotional banner image to use
  • A new or previously created Custom Fare airModule(s)

Action Items:

  • Add campaigns to template pages

Duration:

  • 40 minutes
Overview of Advanced Assets

Goals:

  • Walk-through documentation on how to create advanced assets: Grids, Accordions, Jump Anchors, Countdowns, etc.

Requirements prior to the session:

  • None

Action Items:

  • Review documentation provided of how to build “Advanced Assets”

Duration:

  • 15 minutes

Ongoing Support

We understand that it will take some time and practice to get familiar with airTRFX Control and become an expert user. For that reason, our Product Support team can help address any questions while you are building your next Custom Page or creating new Campaigns. Existing customers can raise questions here

During the Delivery Process:

  • EveryMundo team members will be available via Zoom conference for 60-minutes once per week during the implementation calls.
  • For emergencies, EveryMundo team members can schedule phone calls besides the weekly implementation calls.
  • Communication outside of the weekly implementation calls should be documented via Basecamp.
    • Basecamp is a project management tool which allows both customer and EveryMundo invitees to document requirements, questions and/or clarifications, and decisions made throughout the product delivery process.

24/7 Product support:

  • Report bugs or submit change requests
  • Request accesses to airTRFX Control
  • Suggest changes
  • airTRFX Control or Product Configuration related questions (How to…)

Customer Success Specialists:

  • Schedule calls with Customer Success team as needed to discuss product usage roadmap and track progress, ask questions related to strategic usage of product, and general discussions
  • Will respond to Basecamp messages within 48 hours
  • Other teams will be involved as needed
